Jen Westmoreland Bouchard is the owner of a boutique writing, editing and French translation agency, Lucidité Writing, LLC. When she’s not galavanting around the world collecting creative fodder, Jen writes daily from her home near Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota (USA).

Her scholarly and nonfiction work can be found in numerous reference books, collections and anthologies published by ABC-CLIO, Greenwood Press, Pencraft International Press, and World Trade Press. Jen has published articles on post-colonial literature and art in peer-reviewed academic journals such as Migrations and Identities (University of Liverpool Press), Journal of African Literature and Culture, and Journal of Pan-African Studies.

Some of Jen’s current projects include editing an anthology she conceptualized entitled (In)Scribing Gender: International Female Writers and The Creative Process (forthcoming, Diversion Press), publishing essays in Reconfigurations Journal and RE/VISIONIST, blogging for OneTravel, contributing travel-related articles to EuropeUpClose, GoNOMAD, and The Savvy Explorer, writing pieces on raising her 1-year-old global citizen for The Parent du Jour and InCultureParent, and dreaming up creative short-form memoir and essays for Border Hopping.
